dirpurge purges a directory from all files older than the specified number of days.
There is also mdirpurge, which allows multiple directories in a base directory to be purged with one command. Ideal for purging FTP upload directories.
dirpurge <DAYS> <DIR>
mdirpurge <DAYS> <BASEDIR> <DIRS>
You can also type "(m)dirpurge -h" for more information (since version 0.3)
- "dirpurge 1 /home/ftp/incoming" removes all files in "/home/ftp/incoming" that are older than one day.
All empty directories, "/home/ftp/incoming" excluded, are removed as well.
- "mdirpurge 3 /home incoming tmp" purges all directories inside "/home" that are called either "incoming" or "tmp", like "/home/dirpurge/tmp" or "/home/ftp/incoming".
